Doug's Rug Care is the most qualified and technologically advanced rug care facility in Central Pennsylvania.
Fine oriental rugs are masterpieces of textile artistry. They are prized possessions that are often handed down as family heirlooms and they require special care. Don't trust your valuable rug to an uncertified or improperly trained carpet cleaner!
The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is an international, independent, non-profit certifying body that promotes high standards and ethics; while advancing communication and technical proficiency within the inspection, cleaning and restoration service industries.
When you hire an IICRC-Certified firm, you can be confident that an experienced, qualified professional is caring for your valuable furnishings. In addition, all IICRC-Certified Technicians pledge to conduct business honestly; always making customer needs the priority.
Our impressive list of IICRC Certifications includes: Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT), Color Repair Technician (CRT), Odor Control Technician (OCT), Rug Cleaning Technician (RCT), Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician (UFT), and Owner Doug Moerschbacher holds the prestigious Master Textile Cleaner designation.
Master Textile Cleaner is the highest professional designation in the industry and less than 2% of all Certified Technicians ever achieve this designation!
IICRC Certification cannot be purchased. IICRC Certified Firms qualify by meeting rigorous standards of business ethics and expertise, and they are required to earn continuing education (CE) credits to maintain the Certified Firm status.
